Fixtures by finishing position

A quick look at out fixtures from a different angle reveals our easiest and hardest months. Initially I have compiled them in relation to each teams finishing position last season.

We'll start with a quick look at Spurs fixture list by last season's league place with no team names to cloud our judgement. August looks a decent start, September a reasonably tough month followed by an easier October. November you would say is tough, December reasonable, January tough, February reasonable, some difficult fixtures in March before we ease off for the rest of the season.

Of course things are never that simple with injuries and suspensions getting in the way, as well as a few dodgy refereeing decisions!

Next I've adding up the finishing positions to give a monthly total, but there are more games in some months than others so games are in brackets and a final figure dividing figure by games to statistically give us our hardest month.

A low figure would be a tough month, a higher figure an easier one in theory.
